Basecamp Foundation

Basecamp Foundation’s Partnerships Approach

Basecamp Foundation (BCF) partners with organizations that work in sustainable development, and whose interventions leave a positive footprint, in order to address selected social, economic and environment needs of host communities in Basecamp Explorer destinations such as Maasai Mara and Lamu in Kenya, and Rajasthan and Dharamsala in India.

Basecamp liaises with communities to identify their needs and invite partners who can give time, expertise (talent) or funds (treasure) to either co-finance or solely support entire projects. Each partnership is guided by a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that clearly states partners’ roles and responsibilities.
